LGBTQ+ Spiritual Inc. is a non-denominational, nonprofit support network located in Laguna Beach, California serving the LGBTQ+ community and their allies across all faiths, backgrounds, and belief systems.
We welcome and honor people of all belief backgrounds, spiritual paths, and traditions — as well as those who are simply seeking community and support.

We are building a network where nearly 2,000 people and growing can show up as their full selves and find help from people who truly understand their experience.
Our Mission
LGBTQ+ Spiritual Inc. exists to connect, support, and uplift LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies — regardless of faith tradition, spiritual background, or belief. We believe that every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
We are a non-denominational organization. That means we honor and include people of all spiritual paths — Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Indigenous traditions, and those who simply identify as "spiritual but not religious." No one is required to hold any particular belief to be part of our community.
Through outreach, resource networking, community events, food and clothing drives, and direct peer support, we are building something rare: a network where LGBTQ+ people can find help from people who truly understand their experience.

Our Story
LGBTQ+ Spiritual Inc. was co-founded by James and Jamaal Flores out of a deeply personal realization: the resources and organizations meant to help LGBTQ+ people often didn't know each other existed — and the people who needed help most were falling through the cracks.
James began simply — by showing up. He started connecting with people online and in community, and what began as conversation quickly became something more: a lifeline for people navigating grief, identity, isolation, and spiritual disconnection. People from every background reached out — not just for faith support, but for someone who truly saw them.
What James discovered was a fractured landscape of services with no bridge between them. So he built one.
Today, LGBTQ+ Spiritual Inc. has grown into a network of passionate advocates, faith communities of all denominations, support organizations, and community leaders — united by a single commitment: that no LGBTQ+ person should face their hardest moments alone.
We are proud to serve nearly 2,000 community members and growing.

Connecting People to Help
We map the services that exist — housing, mental health, food assistance, legal aid — and build real pathways between them so that LGBTQ+ individuals can find the right support without having to navigate alone.
